Default New steering servo, cant work it out

Just bought a hitec 645MG steering servo, hooked it all up 2 where my previous one was and... nothing... absolutely nothing. Can anyone help me im so noob 2 this. please before i throw my crawler under my car and drive over it:-(

Is it plugged in backwards? Sometimes i still plug em in backwards and wonder what happened!!!
Does the old one work when you plug it back in?

Unplug your esc and try it in that slot, if that works then it could be the receiver.

If you are using a Spektrum radio, you may need to re-bind after changing components.
