Flat spots my buddy left his losi 1/16 scale out in the sun to long and now he's got some really bad flat spots any ideas on how to get rid of them thanks |
keep the weight off the rig and keep it in the warm for a few hours, they should come back to normal |
Are you runnin any type of foam in the tire? It may help out quite a bit |
its not my rig im not sure if he's running foams or not, what if i tell him to put his foams in if he doesnt and keep weight off of it in a warm place that would work right |
Surely he has foams....if not, then his tires would be really flat! As for getting rid og the flat spots...just take the weight off the vehicle...set i tup off the ground with nothing touching the tires. They will go back to normal... |
Try This Well a simple clean your tires job might work. Spray your tires with some simple green and scrub them down. Then let them dry with the face of the wheels up. You get a clean looking set of tires and wheels while getting rid of that flat spot."thumbsup" |
I have a small wooden box that I rest my crawler on when not in use. It sits under the skid and keeps the wheels and tires off the ground. It's a good habit to get into to keep from getting flat spots. |
ok thanks i will let him know i dont think he has foams, he has a 1/16 losi with those stock bogger looking tires and he said they werent soft enough for him |
