| Battery life.
I recieved a WK yesterday on a trade, I'm new to the whole RC scene. I'm not sure if time just passes by faster than I'm expecting, however, I would like a longer life battery without spending too much.. I just seem to lose power after a short run and can't climb anything. |

What size battery do you have now? Hard to tell you what you need when we don't know what you already have. Also: how is the truck set up? Is it a stock WK? Is it modded for crawling? |

Sorry, meant to include it in the post. The truck came with a Patriot 2000 (7.2v). Everything looks stock except I locked the front and rear of the truck last night. Never thought to count the gears, but the truck does appear to go slower than the ones I see in the videos that advertise the truck. Outside of that, I'm sure the entire truck is stock. I'm mainly looking to make a daily driver out of this truck. Play on the rocks and on the road like my real jeeps. Plan on using it when we are having down time at the trail. |

Stock, my Wheely King ate batteries. If you don't need the speed, go with a higher turn motor and a better ESC and you'll get substantially more battery life. |
