Default Berg Shocks w/kit

Building my new berg and have a question. I am putting my berg together and using a KK 4.0 chassis. I only have the shocks that came with the kit. The shocks are 5" long so I need to reduce the length to 4". To limit the length would it be ok to use fuel tubing or something else? I have Losi springs that I will be able to use Gold 1.4 and White 1.8 (2.75 long) I only have 2 of each. I am thinking 40wt or 50wt oil. What would you suggest for oil and springs front and rear.

Thanks for any recommendations you can make.

Neil

Yes use fuel tubing to limit the shocks on the inside.
The gold springs would need to go on the front shocks & the whits on the rear & run 40 WT oil in the front & rear shocks.
