|  Vp hurtz shifter dig help
This is a 3 position dig right? what are they,will my DX3.0 radio work with this unit,and for all 3 postitions? im kind of confused on how my 3rd channel can be set up for 3 seperate positions.. thanks in advance |

Just from what I've gathered from this forum, the DX3.0 only has a 2 position 3rd channel... so you wouldn't be able to use all 3 positions that the dig offers... I did a bunch of research before I bought my radio... and I know for a fact that the DX3, and the DX3R both a 3 position 3rd channels... I don't know EVERYTHING, though I'm sure someone with a bit more experience will chime in  |

I got the 3.0 and it doesn't have a 3 position third channel.

o.k...thanks for the quick replies....so i should be able to lock out the rear right? and what are the other 2 modes with this unit?

With a 2 position 3rd channel you have a couple choices. 1) Four Wheel Drive and Locked rear (wheels don't turn) 2) Four Wheel Drive and Freewheel rear (wheels spin without power from motor) The dig positions are freewheel - FWD - Locked. I have the same radio on mine right now but don't have a dig yet. I plan on a dig and a better radio down the road. Last edited by AZrcdriver; 09-26-2009 at 12:48 AM. |

So you mean either LOCKED REAR and FREEWHEEL or LOCKED REAR OR FREEWHEEL ???? Thanks again |

You still have not answered my question though... I can only choose 1 of the 2 modes then right? rear lock or freewheel...I'm new to the DIG scene so thats why all the noobish questions....  |

Post it on Ebay, then buy a dx3 ( harder to find ) for less money and it will let you do all 3. You don't want to do without freewheel or locking the rears. |
