| chain wax in your gearbox ?
ok this one will go out to the moose knuckle poop tossin' mountain bikers, the cute guys wearing spandex on their sweet little road bikes, maybe even those out there fighting the streets on the stinging styles of a stripped and shaved up gixxer... has anyone tried chain wax such as Pedro's or even castrol chain wax ? well i have in my little frontier cc-o1 and last night when we rebuilt my brothers diff. we put ice wax in the rear axle. i know that when i changed my mountain bike over to wax i didnt have to deal with more than half the grime as oil/grease. wax is safe on plastic, and doesn't tend to collect the dust and turn into sludge. discuss.... |

wish I could answer your question, but I don't have a crawler or any chain wax to try. | |

yea i hear ya, i know one thing.... this is just for me, i don't give a shit how aerodynamic or streamline spandex makes me... nobody should be crossing disco, mommies closet and biking. i'll cruise a set of padded nuts under my baggies... close enough. |

I've been running a similar wax based product (White Lightening) on my driveshafts. I can't attest to its lubrication qualities (I think a heavier-bodied product might be better) but the driveshafts are clean.... Narly1 |
