Default Motor & esc setup for the losi comp crawler

Just wondering what would be a good combo for the Losi Comp Crawler? The goat 3s or something equal?

you should check out the Losi section, lots of talk about the Losi motor/esc combo. also check out http://forum.losi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=8 it's Losi's own forums for rock crawling.

I'm running an xcelorin 17.5 with an xcelorin esc. It's working very well so far. I just switched from a brushed motor that was hand-wound by a friend, and I had to be careful with it to prevent it from overheating (couldnt stay on it if I was bound up which was no good for comp settings when I needed to just power through things, and couldn't run the last 10-15% of my lipo, so I was getting drastically shortened run times). the brushed was working very well, but it was time for more wheelspeed, so stepped up to the brushless.
