Default tamiya high lift questions!

i was wondering if i could run a tamiya high lift with a spektrum dx 3.0 :?

You can, but you won't be able to use all 3 gears. You could set up the EPA's to use 1st and 3rd or 1st and 2nd or 2nd and 3rd. Basically, with the 2 position switch on the radio, you can only use 2 gears.

Its not bad at all, i usually only use 1st and 3rd anyways. 3rd to get where im going, and 1st to climb the hillls!!

You have to set your end points up on your controller so when the switch is one way, the servo is pushing the linkage all the way in for 3rd gear, and when you flip the switch, the servo pulls the linkage far enough back to pull it into 1st gear. It might take some tinkering with longer and shorter servo horns, but ill get it sooner or later.
