| Ok... so not being snyde or witty; You are thinking that if you have multiple ESC's then you can use Multiple batteries, yah? Since an ESC takes in power and gives it to only *1* motor and a motor can only be connected to *1* ESC... if you had 10 ESCs you would need 10 motors. Which is why people with Motor-On-Axle vehicles (MOA), which require 2 motors, will use 2 ESCs, and even then sometimes only one battery. (There are exceptions to the rule but for now stick with me). I think what you are trying to do would be better served by just buying a bigger battery or a specialized connector that allows you to run two batteries to one ESC. Not to mention... where would you fit all the batteries and ESCs?!?! Last edited by oSPANNERo; 10-30-2009 at 05:09 PM. |

oh man, this is starting to sound like the infamous "Solar Panels" Thread: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/powe...ar-panels.html I wonder if Ausi319 and chaseatthefield are the same person?? or related? or married? (or both, looking at the location...) That thread is still, to date, my favorite thread ever. Last edited by monkeyracer; 10-30-2009 at 05:49 PM. |

Crap... why didn't I think of solar panels! Then we could totally eliminate the need for batteries since we don't crawl at night!

| Ya, or as the OP in the thread above, get some wind turbine generators, and crush up solar panels (to be "thermoformed" onto a lexan body) that way when the car is going fast and the sun is out, the wind turbines recharge the batteries!
