| Need waterproof esc
Hey, I was wondering is there a good waterproof esc for brushed motors, that includes drag brakes for a reasonable price? I have the XL-5 but, there's no drag brake. B.T.W. I'm running a Tekin 35t and a Novak 55. |

you can get any esc you want and fill it up with electrical grease and it will be waterproofed. i have done that on many of mine and i havent had any issues for the past 3 years. this way you wont have to have a bulky box in the way. its cheap and it works. |

The Sidewinder is about as water resistant (neither the XL5 or the Sidewinder are "waterproof") as the XL5...

The xl5 is waterproof 100% i ran my slash off of my diving board into my pool and drove it underwater to the other end. lol took it out and still has the same motor and esc 6 months later.
