I searched but did not find a thread. What magazines are worth buying? I saw one at the hobby shop today, but they wanted $7.95. I was not going to pay that, not knowing what it was. And I don't even remember the name. Looking for a mag with technical information. I want to jump into this hobby, but the more I read, the more confused I get. |

One of my reasons is the ads. I need to know more about what is available.

| I buy the mags from time to time if they have an article I'm interested in having around....but seriously you'll find out more about what parts are available and what will be coming out on this website than you ever will in the magazines

I subscribe to RCCA and RC Driver. Each normally has one article worth saving per month (painting, electronics, crawling, nitro tuning, etc..). I'll only buy one of the crawling mags after I thumb through it, they are expensive and sometime don't have any good articles.

I love my magazines, but the forums are always way ahead and more indepth. Plus you have real answers, not fake ones for advertising sake.

I am fairly new to the scale scene also. There is a lot that I don't know either. This forum is the #1 best place for information. Plus, there is the internet. That is what I do. Ask as many questions as you want on here. Don't be afraid to get thrown under the bus by others. We're new and learning. The dumbest question is the question not asked. "If we cease to learn, then we cease to live." |
