i do, as do many others just make sure your lipo cut off is set to 3 cell.

FXR specs.....

SPECS:
Input Voltage: 4-9 Cells/2-3S Lipo
Motor Limit: 12 turn
On Resistance: 0.0012 ohms
BEC: 6V/3A
Dimensions: 1" x .8" x .4" (25mm x 20mm x 10.2mm)

Should work.

Lots of people run them with a 3 cell.

you forgot to add the part that says that its 3s only with 35t or higher count motor... im sure u could get away with runnding a lower count but at that point its not much of a crawler.

make sure u set ur cut off properly

Sure you can. Read the specs of the ESC. here Find your speed controller at the bottom

Thank's, I just got the speed control and didn't want to burn it up."thumbsup"

Didn't see that,sorry.

21 and 25 turn handwounds crawl great"thumbsup" Any wind higher than a 35t is poopy.

That's one reason I like Castle stuff. No limits in a crawler. Hook up what you want and lay it on the floor.

thank's for all the help.

That would be the case with ANY ESC....except the new Holmes Hobbies TorqueMaster BR-XL

At low voltage,an ESC's internal BEC will push what it's rated to. The more voltage you put into an ESC,the weaker the BEC will get. Thats why just about any crawler you see is running a CCBEC. A 3 cell lipo is just about the "norm" for what people run in their trucks.

lol well then call me old fasioned :flipoff: i come from the land where 200:1 gearin is the cool thing to do

If I were you, I would run either a Castle Creations BEC with the 3S setup or I would run 2S. Almost every single time I see a post about someone's FXR burning up, they are running a 3S straight to the FXR. So nomatter what Tekin claims, it is still risky running a 3S setup without a bec. I went with a 2S setup on my SCX10 that I am building because it is very close in performance to the 3S and with the added benefit of me not having to purchase a bec and still being assured that my FXR will be fine.
