Default New to RC crawling old to real crawling need help

Hi guys, I came across a pic of an SCX10 with defender body and was sold. Ive got the real thing and want to make an rc replica of my baby. Ive ordered and SCX10 RT and need help on where to get the hard D90 body. Ive read on this site that you get them from Hong Kong. My dad is there right now and could collect for me if I had more details. Where can I get wheels and a scale Warn 9.5Ti winch and winch bumper. thanks

Nice Rig dude! Check RC4WD for the wheels or The Scale shop. You might find replica wheels just like your 1:1.. For the winch, you can get the RC4WD winch or go for what most use.. the 3racing winch. I think TCS or RPPs got those

Hey bro u have a sweet D90 (my dream car). I noticed your from south Africa (also my dream destination to live). Man I'm so jealous of u.
Any way here is a site you can buy a RC D90 and just take off the body to use.

Also some other sites,

Check Ebay frequently, they sometimes have good scale D90 bodies.
Hope this helped!

Cheers Mnster. Ive made contact with him. Cant wait to start this project. Anybody have any ideas as to what materials or techniques i should use to put a power bulge on the bonnet. I was thinking of using epoxy resin to fill the centre of the bonnet to give it a flush surface and then make a negative mold of the bulge and use epoxy resin to form it and mount directly onto bonnet????

Nice D90, you should check out Rockware. They are the experts when it comes to real Rover crawling. They are good friends of mine and have built everything 1to1 I own. These guys are Rock Racers so they build tough crap. Here's a pic of my LWB, lots of people think it's a D90
