Noob crawler needs help

Hello, I'm looking to buy my first crawler. I've never done any crawling before and I'm torn between two trucks. I like each for differant things. they are the losi night crawler and the traxxas summit. now I've been reading about each for a while and I want your input.

the summit/ I like this because it's size. it's waterproof, it has high and low speeds. you can go from bashing to crawling in seconds. I dont like that it costs more. has crappy radio gear. has no after market and doest bash or crawl great.

losi night crawler/ It's a true crawler, it has better radio gear. has a lot more after market and is cheaper. I dont like that it is really just a crawler and if I dont like to crawl then I'm stuck with it. and it's far from waterproof.

can anyone please drop there input on both? remember I'm brand new to crawling. so this would be a first time truck.
