Default Newb question about my ax10 scorpion

I just bought mine today. I got my connections swapped by my local hobby shop. As im running my truck i notice its faster when putting the truck in reverse. I also noticed that while it movin fast in reverse, i go to move forward and I have to pump the trigger twice. Almost like a brake. Could the guy I got my RTC from screwed something up? How can I fixe this. like I said im new to the whole RC hobby. I played with throttle but....no. You guys know what your doing, I hope this discribes the problem well.

Sounds like it. It sounds like the motor is wired up backwards, or installed the tranny backwards, to compensate the servo input on the radio has been reversed.

Help us out a little, what is your...

Truck:
ESC:
Radio:
Motor:

Once you get the truck moving in the right direction you should recalibrate your radio to your ESC.

I believe its the motor wiring. Is this an easy fix? Do I just swap the wires? Id start playing around with it but im not sure if Id short something out. lol idk.
Sorry its a Axial AX10 RTC all stock. I thought I was in that room. When I had the battery leads switched coud they have reversed somethin. all he did was solder a diffrent lead.

Just checked the lead. Its right. Black on Neg. Red on Pos. It has to be the motor wiring then? Right?

THE RTC AX10, has the ESC reversed from the factory, so as to give the rig an instant reverse.

Vry Vry dumb. I thought my heat sink was loose when I got it this morning and I took it to my LHS to get diffrent battery leads. I took it apart there with a worker. I got side tracked in there and the person that was helping me insisted on putting it back together no prob. Well when I got it home to drive it for the first time.... is when I noticed it was a little weird. Numbnutz had the motor wires backwards.
