MOA is a crawler kind of thing, typically with gearing around 40:1, which is slow! And the design of the various MOA axles doesn't lend itself to big changes in gear ratio.

It might be better to choose a suitable conventional axle with around 3:1 ratio (typicaly) and fab up a bracket to mount your motor on it. Have a look at the MOA conversion kit fot the Losi Comp crawler axles for ideas. The Losi axle may not suit you 'cos it's worm drive, but the idea could probably be made to fit another axle.

Cheers.

MOA doesn't have to be a crawler thing. I think what you need is a clod axle with straight tubes. Somebody has to make them!

I wanted to do a similar project, but make it a quad w/a clod rear axle and indy front.
