Default Axial RTR vs RTC.

Axial RTR vs RTC.
I am trying to decide what to go with. I want to build a 1.9 scale of my 82 toyota pickup but I also want it to do well crawling...
I have heard that the RTR would work well for a scaler but
I have heard that the RTC would be best for rock crawling.
I'm not sure which one to get. I have looked at alot of vids and I havnt seen anyone that has used a hilux body on a RTC yet. I have seen many that have use the hilux body on a RTR tho.

The RTC comes with 2.2 tires and a 55 turn motor. I just dont know if I will have a problem trying to set up my hilux body on it because it only has 2 side body mounts as opposed to the RTR that has the traditional top of the frame body mounts.

Thanks,
Camodan

about the only diff between the two is tires, shocks, and motor, all better on the rtc. the scx is probably better for you.

if your wanting to build scale of your yota dont buy either of them, look at the axial scx10 TR, it comes RTR just like the rtr and rtc ax10 but is based around scale not compitition crawling,

http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/scx10tr/index.html

it will be a much better base to build your yota off

How does it crawl thou? I kind of want the best of both worlds. The ax10 was the one I ment by RTR.

it crawls great on the scale sencse of things, you wont really every have the best of both worlds, as you get more scale u loose the preformance and as u go more comp you loose the look. so as on goes up the other goes down, seach sxc10 on you tube and u will get a good idea of how well it does,

if you've never had a crawler you'll still be surprised at what a scx10 can do. and either the RTR or RTC AX10 would look ridiculous with the yota body perched up on top of its twin vertical plate chassis
