Question Mamba Max & Tekin 35T?

Wazup everybody?! Hey, I was wondering if I could run a Trakpower 4900 3s lipo, and a Tekin 35T together with a Mamba Max esc? Would this be too much power to the motor? And what size pinion would you all recommend using in this setup? The spur is a 87T B.T.W. I'm running a moded AX10 on an TCS X Trail Scale Chassis, full droop suspension, on 1.9ers

The battery doesn't pump power into the motor, the motor draws power from the battery, and your battery can provide all that the Tekin motor can pull. That setup will be fine.

As far as gearing, depends what you're after for overall wheelspeed/torque. 14-17 would be a good starting point.
