Default Axial ax10 ESC?

I just bought a axial ax10 rtr and it seems very jumpy when forward throttle is applied. I installed the front locker and 14t pinion and it still is very fast forward, but crawler slow in reverse. Is there any way to make it go as slow forward as it does in reverse? Thanks

this is because the axial "rtr" has a 27 turn motor the axial "rtc" has a 55 turn motor this means the more turns upward means less speed and more torque less turns equals higher speed and less torque i would get a 12 turn pinion and get a 45 turn motor because in some situations you will need some wheel speed

Try switching polatity the motor wires, then you will have to flip the switch on the radio so it will go the correct direction.

I have also seen one of these ESC's that had no way to control the speed at all, it was full speed right now. You had no way to creep into the throttle, turns out it was a problem with the ESC itself.
