i went ahead and removed mine too since it really doesn't apply now,,,ya know,,since you need about an inch and a half out of the length i would shroten the front links only,,to get a forward bias for the front axle weight,,its kinda hard to see in th pics what the exact length is on our tape,,my resolution sucks too so,,,just my $0.02

do you have an axle jig?

axle jig....no isnt that the two ruler lookin things that keep everything straight?

all you need is two pieces of aluminum angle about 14 inches long and drill two holes big enought o fit your axle stubs,,the holes should be centered 12.5 inches apart,,then mount your axles between them and you can always get your wheel base right,,for adjusting ride heighth and link length etc

two pieces of 1" x 1" angle should work fine,,mark one piece for the holes and clamp them back to back and drill them out,,,that way you dont have to worry about alignment of the two pieces,,and they dont need to be mounted to anything,,unless you want to,,then mount one piece permanently and the other piece removable

front wheels or rear wheels powered? try it fronts only and get it fishin

it was rear wheel powered and i tossed a few rocks out there to drift around puttin her all back together and makin panels now
