| What radio/controller do I need to run....
my new SCX10 I just got from RPP Hobby if I plan on running a winch? I know I need a 3rd channel for the winch... any and all help will be greatly appreciated. RIZ |

I would suggest spending the $ for a good radio! If you plan to be in the RC hobby at all a good radio is a must! I run a DX3R for all my 1.9 and 2.2's. And a DX6i for my Supers. If you want more options and another channel go with a 4PK! There is quite a price difference in the 4PK and the DX3R though. If you are on a tight budget just pick up a used TQ3. But trust me, 2.4 is where it's at |

Dx3 series for sure. If you're on a tight budget the Dx3E should be out soon. Give Corey a call at RPP and see what he can do for you.

People here love their radios and will give a glowing endorcement of them. Look at what 3-channel radios are available, look at the features on the radio's web site, talk to the peeps at your LHS; make a short list of radios you like then make liberal use of the 'Search' button on this site to do research.
