Put the battery in the rear of your truck and drive it backwards to see how you like it. With my trucks that have 4ws I some times steer with only the rear, but fws is better if you can only have 1 axle steering.

You should REALLY search before posting noob questions like that. This is NOT RCDori. All of your questions that you asked & will ask in the future have already been answered many times before. |

Just put it on the links and servo, it will be fine. Hold it there with velcro strips or something. Just make sure it don't bind when you flex it.

Braddah, i think he was joking, because all you have to do is click the search button and type in "battery on links"(315 subjects) or "battery on axles"(294 subjects), i just did it, and it only took about 15 seconds for each search. i'm dying to tell you how i did it, but just look at the axles or links......There is no right or wrong way to build a crawler, if there was you could buy one off the shelf at the store...aside from the Nylint stuff. Good luck! COMMON SENSE rules over all Questions!!!!! |

That's quotable.... Unfortunately, common sense isn't so common. | |

hansom, I understand what you mean by it just seems wrong (putting it on top of the servo). It's effective but it's really ugly. You have to decide if you like the look of it.
