| Pede trans installation help. Motor?'s
I am going to be installing a Stampede transmission into an MFM Chassis that is narrowed. I will be notching out the frame and mounting it with the motor at the back of the truck to get the driveshafts to be equal length. If i mount it this way will i have any issues with installing a motor and having the drivetrain spin the correct direction? I am a total newb, i havent wired up an engine, ESC, etc. before. Couldnt i just wire the motor backwards to get it to spin the direction i want? Will this affect the motor? Thanks, i am hoping to get the chassis completed in the next few days so i can start to gain some ground on this project. |

Yes you can wire the motor backwards, it will have NO affect expect make the motor run the other way. |

Excellent. Thanks! I am no electronics expert, but i figured it wouldnt mess anything up. I figure its better to ask than to ruin something and end up being wrong.
