Heres a link the ESC's homepage; http://www.traxxas.com/products/acce...sories_xl5.htm And from what it says it has 15 turn limit on 540 size motors. IDK if that means you cant go lower then 15 or higher... im thinkin it means cant go lower, which is usually the lower the turns the more speedy a motor is. So I think ur OK with that 55 turn motor... but i know others on here have had issues running this ESC with crawler type motors that resulted in the motor and esc running hot. But you can give it a try and if it works for ya, keep on trucking. If not, maybe pickup a used Castle sidewinder on the cheap. |
