Any suggestions for an all around basher? The Axial Rock Racer looks good but I have my own electronics so maybe the ARTR or maybe the Venom creeper can be made into a basher? I am assuming I can just put a 27t motor in one of these and go at it. Thanks.

For bashing ya can't beat an axial ax10. Ya can hop them up to go as fast or slow as ya want with all the aftermarket support anyone could wish for. There are some 40+mph ax10s out there. |

Check out this Axial goin nuts with a traxxas VXL motor in it; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoqxGwDxB74 Just an example that you can bash pretty hard with the axial setup. And yes a 27turn will work good for speed and a slow space... the Rock Racer comes stock with a 27turn. Since you do have your own elecs, the ARTR from Axial could be up your alley. Add rear steer and you'd have a lil mini monster action happn to bash about the yard with. |

they are verry tough axles and tranny just outa the box, and with a few minor upgrades they can be bullet proof, love my axial, friend has a scx-10 best basher IMO it has no damage after jumps, falls, rock bashing/ racing, and mud runs

Thanks for the replies. Now I know it has been done and the Axial is the choice! I will probably go with the ARTR version. I already scoped out a nearby construction site on the way home from work. Dirt hills-check muddy water holes-check drainage ditches with all sort of nasty things floating around- check It should prove to be a happy place for my new Axial. |
