Complete Noob here!!!

My name is Lance, i am from kentucky. I have been looking at this stuff for a while now on youtube and various places. Seems really really interesting and i am thinking about buying me one! I have the big ones, and thought a little one might be fun too! I can't believe how realistic this stuff is, especially the mechanical components! I was looking at a scale jeep and it is almost like looking at my JK Unlimited in the garage! I can already tell I like the scale trucks better than the full on comp buggies and things. Any suggestions to get started...eventually i would like to do a JK Scale build modelled after my JK, but for now was thinking about the Axial scale truck as a start and later one maybe doing a full build!

Any Suggestions

Lance

Welcome, Lance.

You're already on the right track. Axial is a great place to start: check out the various sub-forums for those rigs, as well as the Scaler sections. You'll find lots and lots of good reading and pictures in build-threads that will get your mouth watering. "thumbsup"

So what's this "big" truck you already have (a real 1:1 rig, or is it RC)? Details, man - pics, n' stuff.
