| Traxxas Radio?
Traxxas TQ 2.4GHz 4-Channel Spread Spectrum Radio. Would this radio be an ok radio to use? Im thinking of picking up a LCC or an axial and dont wanna spend alot of money on a expensive radio. Can a dig be used with the radio? What about there brushless systems? Are they good for the money? Would it be a good "starter"?

Yes ya can use it. The problem is there are no epa adjustments on it. It will work on a punk dig like that but for a losi/axial dig ya will either have to add them My Modded TQ3 Update - Added EPA pots Or get a servo strecher; http://www.servocity.com/html/180o_servo_stretcher.html |

I use a traxxas tq3 with my ax10. Its pretty cheap, you can get one for about $20-30 bucks off ebay and it will come with a receiver. Then you can go to rccaraction and see the mod for making the radio rear steer, without spending a lot of money with a digital radio. Hope this helps.

Yep sure can, I use my TQ4 with my Venom Creeper and dig unit and works awesome since the dig switched can be used without have to look at the switch, its in a natural position too Chris |

There is a new generation of Traxxas 2.4 ghz radios coming out. They do not have any kind of displays, but they have a new system that automatically syncs the radio the the RC you are driving without having to select it. They also have EPAs.

Yea i was talking about the 2.4ghz. Its only like 140 from towerhobbies and could be a alternate to the super expensive 2.4ghz radios. But i want to no if i can use the 3rd channel as a dig?

I picked up that $140 version last weekend for my AX-10 and I was impressed with it! It was the first 2.4 Id ever driven with, so maybe Im not a good person to listen too, but it does everything I ask of it, and I especially love the 'distance' I get out of my rig now! My stock gear was so glitchy when standing not very far away from it.
