Default Does an Integy Lathe 35T have internal capacitors?

I bought a used scale crawler that had a fried ESC. I bought a new ESC and was reading the instructions and they recommend soldering on three capacitors unless the motor already has them inside. Does anyone know if the Lathe 35T has them? If not do I have to add them?

Thank you. Will it hurt anything if they're not on there?

if you run a 2.4gh radio, i dont belive you need them..

if you run an AM or FM based radio, i would run them....

some if the newer Integ. motors have them built in, it will look like a little PC board on the end bell.....

The Integy Pro Series come with caps already installed. Look for the little printed circuit board on the endbell.

The idea of the caps is to reduce brush arcing which also causes electrical noise. In these days of 2.4 GHz spread spectrum radios cases of electrical noise causing glitching is rare.

Reducing brush arcing does have a positive effect on brush life though....
