Default a good start

hey im wanting to get in to crawling. right now im just a basher i have a savage xl. im looking for a good rig to start with. ive looked at losi comp venom creeper and axial. are there other good options? if so what? just lokkin fro so recommendations. id rather start big and up grade then have to buy a new rig when i figure out what im doin. thanks shayd

i say go w/ the losi comp crawler. out of the box you already have dig
and out of the box the link geometry is the one to beat. you can use your choice of electronics. and then in future maybe convert it to moa

thanks for the advise. the only thing i am thinking against it is it would be nice to build one so i really understand the truck. losi doesnt have kit

There's nothing stopping you from disassembling the Losi and putting it back together. An added bonus is that you already know where everything should go.

You're going to at least want to tear down the axles anyway, so why not yank out the tranny and take it apart too? The rest is pretty self explanatory.

Two great choices would be either Dual fxr/45 combos, ccbec & dx6/6ex/4pk or holmes torquemaster esc, 45ts, punk dig & 3pm x. If ya want to go cheap a couple rc4wd outcrys, silver cans and a dx6 parkflyer is a good stater setup for under $250 imho.
