ok i got the venom 3000 stick battery any way to mount it to the front axle or shound i go lipo before putting it up there

On what rig? The answer is if it fits:mrgreen:

Lipo would be they way you would want to go. They are lighter and smaller and pack a bigger punch! Let me know if you need help with this!

if you have a lipo charger already, go lipo. you may also want to invest in a front servo mount / battery tray that moves the servo to one side and makes room for a lipo.

if not, look for some nimh axle mount saddle packs, i didn't have a lipo charger at the time so i got 9.6v crawler saddle packs from TCS and some small plates that screw onto the axles to fasten them too. Was a nice way of adding some extra weight to the front too.
