| You are OFF the radar. I don't think it's instant, but it should be quick. Can you see this? http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showt...ight=wreckluse |

| You have to be a member for 30 days, get a star, have 30 posts, and your access won't be granted until you drop off a semen sample on EeePee's back porch.

I personally think a grace period of getting to know members, and alleviating the chances of bad apples is a good thing. I joined because i'm new to crawlers, but not RC, and am looking for more opportunities to gain more knowledge, and yes save a buck with a buy/sell. Not looking to make a buck, more like score a LCC lol |

If you cannot afford the $20 for access then this hobby is definalty not for you. As a plus the endless amount of helpful people posting good information will save you many times that twenty bucks in the long run.

Just buy a STAR already...I can honestly say that buying things from the classifieds have saved me more than $20. In a sense, it pays for itself.

Go thru the last weeks worth of posts in the newbie subforum and ask appropriate questions when you don't understand something. That's what it's there for and meaningful questions will count. And likely result in more discussion that you can participate in. I expect what doesn't count is "cool truck", "x2" etc.

I really don't think it was meant as a flame and since you edited your post 4 min later I don't think you really want to leave. People are smart asses to each other on here it's nothing personal, you'll know when your getting flamed. Follow the rules, jump through the hoops and get a thicker skin you won't regret it. |

Well if you think that was flaming, boy have you got a shock coming. It was straight-forward suggestions on how to get started. And no, I'm not a touchy-feeley guy who feels the need to dress everything up with smileys. If you don't like the advice, feel free to ignore it. |

Now, your statement of "The last thing we need is for greenies to be giving out info." was a little out of line, IMO. Everybody can have an opinion, it's up to the reader to accept it or dismiss it. Three posts and you're throwing in the towel?
