I was wondering the same thing Thanks for the info. Guess I'll wait 29 more days. Been on the site for about a year but finally signed up yesterday. Going to be buying my first crawler in about a month so can't wait to see what is in there.

be careful what and how you post,,,chit chat doesnt count and will get you reset on post count,,research and contribute,,posting up things like "nice rig" and just asking the same things or base questions over and over will bet the attention of the moderators and your post count will be reset cuz they will delete your posts

buying a star for $20 is a cheap way to get all access to the site without the mods going nuts about what you say or where you say it.

Wow, I've been on here for two weeks wondering the same thing... Where are the classifieds? Two more weeks and 30 posts until I can be free of the dregs of ebay and MSRP?

At least it slows down on the spam guys from posting bs stuff in the for sale section like I see on some other sites.

Yes, and it also keeps people from joining, posting a bogus ad, and ripping us off, never to be seen again. Not to many scammers have the patience to wait it out 30 days.

Since you guys don't have access to that part of the board, I imagine you can't see the feedback thread either. Everyone is encouraged to post feedback about the members you have dealings with. I'd have to say that 98% of it is positive. Not because everyone is that honest, but because if you try to screw someone, we'll eat your soul.

Cant wait to get in on these classifieds I hear of. Ebay only seems to have all the cheap import stuff, rarely having any good parts that don't come on a 500$ rig.

I really can't understand what the big deal is with just buying a star. If you have money to spend in the classifieds you should have enough to buy a star. Look at it as an investment. Some forums won't allow you to ever see the classifieds until your are a supporting member.

Default Spend the $20

It was the best $20 I spent on RC Crawlers. Even though I am relatively new to crawling, I'm not new to RC. It has allowed me to find the market value on several items I have purchased. It not only provides a place to purchase but also has allowed me to purchase locally without fear of paying too much. Knowledge is power!

Just purchased my star. Does anyone know how long it takes to be aknowleged as a star holder. I have some money saved up for a wrekluse! Maybe I'll find one in the classifieds since they are out of stock at RCP.
