Hi all. looking for some guidance and wisdom.... Running rear steer thru a TEKIN fx-r, bought a cheapo BEC from Hong Kong, hoping to run the front thru the external BEC and the rear thru the fx-r's internal BEC. I have a DX5-e with the ar500 (6ch) rx. Thinking about it, if I just whack on the BEC, it'll just be doing the same thing as the fx-r's BEC, so I want to split the BEC duties.... Is there some way of splicing servo / BEC together at some point so as to split the BEC duties or am I stuck with both servos running off one or the other??? |

remove the power and ground wire from the plug on the front servo and solder them to the bec, that will supply power to the front servo only.

thanx mate. so..... FRONT SERVO BEC plugs to BATT/BIND, front servo (pos & neg) solder to BEC (pos & neg) with servo signal staying plugged to RX, BEC power solder to esc/battery leads. REAR SERVO plugs to RX as per normal to work off the fx-r BEC. This is sort of kind of a bit the way I wuz thinking of setting it up before, but needed confirmation of those who have gone before me.... thanx again. |
