Default have got tekin fxr and crawler rooster which one to use?

i got 2 escs right now, some time ago i bought a novak rooster crawler 45t combo for my scx10. i modded that one from crawler to basher with a intesy 27t and a bigger bevel. still 2s though, and possibly may not change.

then i bought an ax10, and a tekin fxr. this is gonna be the crawler rig with the novak engine i bought before.

the question now is: which esc is better for what?

i know that the rooster is not bad at all, and works quite well. so does the tekin, but this one is more adjustable and can handle 3s (how the hell may this work in a basher? it is soooo small and doesn't have a heat sink at all?!?)

so what's your advise?

I would go with the FX-R. I have been running mine on 3s for a while with 2-35t handwound motors. Love how adjustable it is also.

fxr in which rig?
i have two combinations possible:

use tekin fxr in short-course scx10 and rooster crawler in ax10 crawler, or vice-versa.

Ah, ok......I would put the FX-R in the comp rig if you run 3s then.

The rooster won't run 3s and the fxr is more adjustable. Rooster for scaler. FXR in comp rig. No contest!
