Default Traxxas shocks on an AX10

I want to run a shorter shock on my AX10 and I want to run a traxxas set up. What series are you guys running out there?

Yeah. I have my stock Axials in droop with no internal springs, just oil. What are you using for internal springs?

I run the slash front big bores with rod end mod and losi springs. They come out under 4".

Maxx shocks work well... and they are cheap.
Big bores are a higher end alternative
and For a short shock, rustler shocks seem to work well.

I had a friend run Jato 2.5" shocks and had good results. What I'm seeing here is that Traxxas shocks can work very well in this capacity. I appreciate all the posts. Off to ebay to see what's out there.

I picked up a set of Jato shocks (4) for $20.00. It's also a local pick up... NICE

The jato/revo shocks are really short! Especially for a stock axial chassis.:?

Does anyone have pics of some traxxas shock set up? These caps are freaking huge and rub against the chassis with those crazy grommet screws.
