Default Servo and Radio

I just got my tax return and I am getting ready to order a JR 8711 or the Hitec 7950TH. I am starting to lean towards the 7950TH.

My question is, I am still using my old school Futaba AM radio. It does have a dial to control the steering throw. Will this old radio work with those servo's with out harming anything.

Default Go 2.4 gigahertz man!

Its the 21's century of glitch free R/C goodness! Just use what you have now and save those pennies for a Spektrum. That old Futaba might acctually be worth something in a few years, keep it in good shape.
