Default Dx3-e

Will the manual have instructions on how to set up the third channel for dig with the DX3-E I searched and found one for futaba but that was it.

The DX3E doesn't have a digital screen. For the 3rd channel it has a selector switch to choose if it's a 2 position, 3 position, or linear function.

You can't program a 3E because it is not digital. All adjustments are made using dials and switches, just like older radios.

You will want to set the 3rd channel to 3 position and then use the auxillary channel travel adjusters to set the servo travel needed to work your dig. See page 9 for info on travel adjusters.

its very easy to set up. to me its easier than all that digital stuff. everything is right there. just have to turn the knobs

I was think of just that, just set it and forget it kind of thing. And the price can't be beat.
