i am convinced. thanks guys, all of ya, for your input. all posts were in line with what i had in mind: - more volts would be more torque and wheelspeed, when i want it. - alternatively, draw less power when i am low speed crawling. - also, i was leaning toward the 3s novak over the 2s novak for the upgradeable options even if i don't go out to buy 3s lipos right away. thanks all for your input. it is what i was looking for. |

| How about the dragbrake on the goat 3s?
How is the dragbrake on the goat 3s compared to the goat 2s? (I am not happy with my dragbrake on the goat 2s. When I go down hill, It will not hold when you give a little throtle... It only hold when it stands still...... I hope this problem is solved with the 3s version! |

I vote 3S over 2S any day of the week I remember running my crawler on 2S and having issues getting up 45* slopes, stuck in my 3S and man this guy scooted right up. So with that said, 3S is there "when you need it" and the extra power can mean the difference between getting out of a bind, or having to remove it |

I run a velenion brushless motor with a side winder esc in my trail truck and with a 20t pinion and 3s i break something every time so i stick with a 2s plenty of power and i never break anything now.....just some food for thought
