Default Lipo Scaler Help

I am in the process of finishing my scaler, I looking for a way to get a long battery life at a reasonable price. Should I go lipo? If so what would be a good speed control, batteries, and charger to get? I plan to get into some water and mud so I want something durable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

IMO...li-po is your best buy : more sizes avail , lighter etc... as for electronics always recomend getting higher end stuff for example...

ESC : Momba Max, Tekin or novak goat
Motor: any 35-45 turn
Radio: Spektum Dx3R or Futaba 4pk
Charger: ? ...i'm still using an ice w/ballancer

As for the h2o etc got my ESC and RX in a water proof box, Battery sealed, servo greased around out put....not a prob at all..Hope this helps a little...
