| Steering issues I just installed the BTA with Axial knuckles and C's. Last night my steering to the right was not as strong (would not turn as tight with weak throw to that side) as steering to the left when going forward. When reversing it would work fine to both the left and right. I backed out all the screws in the steering to see if something was too tight. I also adjusted the servo arm to make sure that it is in center line. One note: while drinking the other night my buddy was bashing my rig and don't know if he did any damage. Is this possibly a sign that the servo is damaged or dying? |

After I put a cheap servo in a hard bind once it would only turn one way for a while. Take the arm off the servo and turn the wheels and feel for a bind before you replace the servo though.

To show my noobness I forgot that my new DX3E has a steering rate control. My daughter was playing with it and I think that she turned it down. Everything works fine it was just a matter of playing with the radio and turning it up again. I am glad that it was a stupid issue because I did not want to buy a new servo. Thanks, |
