can i use my tq for my slash and scaler?
 

so i have my scx10 trail honcho and the remote and receiver are from a different truck and are beat to a pulp and i need something new without the fat cost. i have a traxxas slash with the stock traxxas tq and receiver and i was wondering if i got another receiver for the tq could i use the same remote for both trucks?...thanks!!

As long as the Transmitter and Reciver are compatable for each other, I had a problem with my TQ remote and a HPI reciver, even tho i used traxxas crystals the TQ wouldnt work with the HPI reciver. They are on differant Shift points. but if you bought a used Traxxas Reciver it shouldnt be a problem using it in the other truck.

and make sure the crystals match.

it will work just fine, thats what i do, i have a scale truck with the stock axial receiver and red crystal in it and i also have a stampede with the traxxas reciever and red crystal, to use the other truck all i have to do is turn one on and the other off and keep going (i also have to switch the servo reversing for the steering).

I use the stock TQ that came with the stampede. So i say use what you have"thumbsup"
