Default newbie looking to get started

Hi great forum!!! I am wanting to get into r/c crawling and I have been surfing the forum for ideas on what i want to build. I want to build a bruiser that looks close to a factory stock toyota hilux. I dont want a lot of lift or massive tires or anything. I am also on a very tight budget. I have tried to find bruiser bodies but no luck. what frame, motor, trans, t-case, servos and such are cheap to buy but good quality? i've been looking at either a trailfinder frame or an axial frame. which would look more to scale and what size tires...1.55 or1.9? I also want to find a toyota trekker body for my crawler. and where can I find the interior tubs, dash, seats, and other accessories? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look through the scale section and see what others are running. Try a search for specific things you are looking for, it'll cut your research time down considerably. Lots of good stuff going on in there.
