Default chassis dxfs or dwgs

Ok, I was wondering i searched around and found the templates in PDF form these in particular http://offroader5.freeservers.com/Templates/ those are PDFs, I really don't want to buy a converter software that I won't use that often. Are these templates or any others out there in dxf form, I want to mess around with it and see what I can do. I know that you can modify the templates for most anything but are the hole layouts for HPI specific stuff?

thanks for any help/direction.

For what purpose do you want to convert them? I print them out, cut them out, and stick them to whatever material I'm using as a guide.

As far as I know, they are all for an Axial, but can be modified to fit whatever you want.

honestly just being a little lazy because I want to modify it a little, i saw one that was really stretched out, since i know how to use cad and already have autocad, thought it would be easy just to use as a basis, for initial dimensions/spacing.

technical i could just print it and measure and redraw, just being lazy i guess.

thanks for the reply.

I opened the Manta template up in MS paint to do a simple mod/stretch to fit super class measurements. Since you are working with a simple line drawing it isn't terribly hard or time consuming.

If you insert the PDF as an OLE Object, you can stretch or shrink the PDF if you want. You can also draw over top of the PDF and reprint but you can't erase any item off of the PDF I don't believe.

Doing the above makes the file hard to work with and run fairly slow though.

That was the next option I was considering. Easier still is just printing and measuring, sorry just wanted to know if they were out there.

Thanks for the info.
