Default adding weight to SLWs

i got some slw .7 on the way im thinking about adding maybe 3oz to each front after i drill vent holes in them.
whats the best way to add weight with these wheels being so narrow?
will a stick of tape weight be to wide to fit around it, maybe cut it in half?
any suggestions would help

The Great Planes lead weight is almost the same width as the .7's. I usually run abot 5-6 oz. on them, so you should have no problems.

I use duck decoy weights and a Weiss compound hand shears (green handles) to cut in half or thirds a 2.2 wheel length full width = 6 oz, cut in half = 3 oz, cut in thirds 1.8 oz. you can custom fit any width wheel.

I used coiled fishing weight. It comes in 1lb coils and are roughly 1/4" lead wire. Works great, just measure, cut and wrap it around the wheel. It's about 4oz per wrap or so.

Default wheel weights

I would just run to les schwabs and get u some of there wheel weights and they will fit long ways just have to bend them alittle but with lead its very plyable. i also sometime just use eletrical tape tape to secure them and it works great.
