Default Complete noob, tell me what to buy...please

Going for a rock racer kinda thing. I am leaning towards the RC4WD Rock rider to start with so the question is. What electrics. Im coming from nitro so Im not up on all the batteries and chargers and speed controls and dig and all that. I plan to go to the two speed tranny after i get used to it. Basically, what servo, esc, radio and batt or anything else you can think of that i need. Not going for comp crawler just yet. Mostly a toy to learn about crawling and practice before building something really kick ass. I want a little speed so I can race around the field the stop and crawl around.

All opinions and suggestions are greatly appreciated I know some of you have probably answered this a million times.

Thanks again
Dustin

1. I would recommend an Axial Kit (RTR, RTC, ARTR). Not hard to convert to a rock racer and then when you are done you can convert it to a Comp Worthy Crawler. Good Luck...

2. If you want speed- Traxxas Summit- I say this loosely. It is not a 2.2 but from what I have seen alot of speed and can crawl ok.

It's more fun to go slow...

Yea Im not looking for tons of speed, I had that in my nitro cars, so something with a two speed tranny to kind of TT race then stop and crawl. Ill look into axial though.

thanks
