| Servo question from a Newbie.
I have a Losi Nightcrawler and I want to replace the steering servo. I have the replacement servo, a futaba S3010. I am pretty new to the whole world of R/C, this might sound like a stupid question but... The gear that is found in the steering connection (on the Losi) that slips over the stock servo, When I put the new servo in do I need to buy a new gear as well?

your servo Arm? Yes you will need a new one. Futaba's and Jr(losi) aren't the same spline. The servo comes with Plastic arms, aka horns, in the box, but you will most likely want aluminum.
