Losi Comp crawler Well guys I did it. I stumbled across some extra cash (overtime) and ordered a Losi Comp crawler. I was hoping for some input on what I should use to complete the truck maybe from people with experience. Thanks for any info. |
If you go to the losi comp crawler section here on the forum there are tons of threads showing what people use on their lcc's. What I like to do is read through them and you will quickly start to see the most popular parts that people use in their crawlers. |
YOU WILL WANT A GOOD BRUSHLESS SYSTEM! id recomed an 18.5t goat with a 12t-14t pinon I run a 2s Goat 18.5t |
I'll be do the same purchase within days, this community is gorgeous for learning and having fun, despiting I have just joined. I have learnt about the LCC -> an high torque servo , something around 300 oz. , a brushless combo like a 21.5 T , a micro servo to use the dig with a 3 channel radio with a 3 buttons switch. Done that, you are ready to begin in a really good way. After several months of crawling practice here and there you might want to upgrade few parts, but I think that to begin, those parts could be more than enough, I guess. I'm super noob too. - |

This is true. You won't be able to keep a brushed motor cool that has any sort of wheel speed. I wouldn't event get the LNC if you don't plan on modding this thing out the ying-yang. In my opinion go with the AX-10. 2 of my (unexperienced) friend bought them and they have been nothing but trouble with the high friction drive trane. |
