I have a radio and receiver and servo from a t-max nitro and a traxxas xl-5 esc from a stampede. was wondering if this will work for a diablo crawler with a rc4wd motor. thanks for your time guys.

It'll work, but it won't work very well.

The XL-5 has crappy low speed throttle response and no drag brake. The servo will probably lack the proper amount of torque.
