Default lnc bec?

Is it ok to cut the power wire from the esc and add a bec through the accessory slot , stock Night Crawler esc and rx

if i were you i wouldnt cur the wire, pop it out of the plug ?(just have to lift the little tab on the back) and wrap it with a peace of tape. if u ever decide to upgrade ur esc and sell the one u have now it will be much easier to do so with out a cut wire
