Default tamiya cr-01 or axial sxc10

need some input on pros and cons on the different trucks to start a scale.
been getting mixed on both from shops (they like to hype what the sell). so i came to the people who are out there using these trucks.
what i have heard. thanks for any info

also what is the differance 1.9 , 2.2 scale

After my research I ended up going with the scx-10 ... it seemed to be the most capable scale kit and not to pricey to get into, and well so far i love this thing...and so glad parts for it are way less than for the real car
